How the Studentships work

Four Studentships will be offered to the value of $5,000 gross per student. Recipients will be required to fulfil a work placement from November to mid- December inclusive.

These Studentships are offered to tertiary students who are studying at a New Zealand University or Polytechnic in an undergraduate health related career. Applicants will be required to complete an application form and submit necessary documentation to be eligible for consideration.

The work placement will be divided into sections depending on the participant's health sector experience; this may include project work, specific interaction with departments and other related health professionals.

If applicants complete their degree in the year they apply it must be understood that attending work placement does not mean there is paid employment available after completing the Studentship.
