Hospital Equipment Request

The West Coast DHB is urgently requesting the return of any loan equipment that patients no longer require. With the number of people suffering injuries as a result of the Christchurch earthquake it is anticipated that there will be a significant demand for such equipment.

The equipment includes such items as braces, crutches, walking frames and wheelchairs to help with mobility, weights and wobble boards used for rehabilitation and other equipment such as shower seats that help those with a disability function within their homes.

The equipment can be returned to any West Coast DHB medical centre, general practice or hospital.
