Pasifika representative sought

Talofa! Malo e lelei! Bula! The West Coast DHB Consumer Council is looking for a Pasifika representative, to fill a current vacancy.

The Consumer Council was established in 2014 as a way for consumers to have a strong voice in planning, designing and delivering services on the West Coast.

The council is made up of a range of people, with diverse backgrounds and areas of interest. They meet approximately two-monthly, generally for around 90 minutes.

To date the council has been involved in bringing public concerns to the attention of relevant managers, contributing to projects and service working groups to ensure consumer input is provided, and reviewing publications with a consumer point of view in mind.

To find out more about the Consumer Council, visit the Consumer Council page in the About Us section of this website. If you are interested in the Pasifika position, phone Consumer Council secretary Julie Bell, (03) 769-7828, or email for an application pack.
